Lynchburg’s Diva Crawl
Lynchburg is well known for many things, from outdoor adventure, history, culture and fine dining, but for the second year in a row, we have celebrated our divas. No, not all of our women are demanding divas, but once a year the girls let their hair down and celebrate womanhood in downtown. Shops stay open longer for them, restaurants give samples, there is music and after all that walking there is a party.
Literally hundreds of women wait in long lines to register for the evening festivities before they hit the town. When they finally get to the booth they are given a bag with prizes, a necklace of beads (no, this isn’t like Mardi Gras where you have to show some skin to collect beads).
This year’s Diva Crawl took place on Friday November 18. If you missed it you don’t need to wait for a year to spend time with your girl friends. Get together a group of your gal pals and plan a girls get away at The Carriage House Inn Bed and Breakfast. We offer the perfect venue for you to reconnect with friends. Leave the spouse or significant other at home and relax. After all, you deserve it.
